spent sunday at the atlin music festival in atlin bc. my first sunday in the yukon and i head back to bc! tho there are those here who consider atlin to be a yukon town regardless of the lines on a map. after checking out some tunes we headed down to the lake where andre and freddy took a dip in the water. not for me. note how bundled I am in the bee-jacket. i'm a pansy-ass southern gal, not one for glacial waters.

the mountains held off storm clouds all afternoon and it got hot. the music was mostly bluegrassy, though there were some local bands with a more original feel. and a delicious salmon barbeque fundraiser.
